Saudi Airlines Business Class Food

Saudi Airlines is known as a “dry airline.” This means they do not serve any alcoholic beverage and do not include pork in their meals. The service of the meal depends on flight duration and time. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with snacks, are part of the courses of 24-hours service.

Saudi Airlines Business Class Seats

The Business Class seats of Saudi Airlines are of san-toned colours with a blanket and pillow placed on them. They have ample and spacious legroom. The leather seats are angled at 45 degrees to each other for comfort and a bit of privacy.

The seats have storage space for small objects but large enough for a laptop.

The right-hand tables open two storage compartments by buttons, and the right leg side also provides small storage space.

There is a large foldable table on the centre console that extends from under the monitor. It has a faux wood finishing and can be used for food trays.

The seat can be put into bed mode for sleeping and resting. On the armrest are the seat controls, which are operated by touch.

These seats can adjust to the passenger’s body’s movement, and this feature is known as “articulated movement.”

These seats have a padded headrest, lumbar support for reclining, and a footrest for commuters’ comfort.

Saudi Airlines Business Class Facilities

A recessed or mood lighting is facilitated so that passengers may not be disturbed while reading or sleeping. Passengers are supplied with hot towels that are soft and lukewarm. A blanket and a pillow are provided on each seat for the comfort of the commuters.

Noise-cancelling headphones are offered to the passengers for their ease.

The in-flight screens contain instructions regarding the air journey. A flight map shows outside air temperature, ground speed, altitude, arrival time at the destination, and travel map.

A foldable table with a faux wood finish is attached in front of the seat sp that commuters can place their laptops on it or food trays.

The Wi-Fi facility is provided for the passengers for free for about 20 minutes, after which extra charges would be placed.

An amenity kit given is designed by Porsche Design and has a very modern look.

A prayer room is also present, which can accommodate up to ten people at a time. This helps travellers in keeping up with their prayers.

Saudi Airlines Business Class Entertainment

For the passengers’ amusement, an in-flight entertainment screen is attached at the front of the seats. It is a revolving screen that can be operated by touch or by a wired remote. This contains the initial traditional travel prayer recited at the start of the journey.

There over 4,000 hours of video and audio content on it, ranging from movies and sports to religious-themed videos and kids programs.

The music selection holds both Arabic and Western content.

A stack of magazines is present, including the Saudi Gazette for in-flight reading. Saudi Airlines’ in-flight magazine is called “Ahlan Wa Sahlan.”

Saudi Airlines Business Class Baggage Allowance

The weight allowance for the hand baggage for domestic and international flights is 9kg (19.8lbs). For domestic flights, the allowed weight is 32kg (70lbs). For every extra piece of baggage up to a maximum of 23kg (50lbs), a charge would be issued. For online booking, SAR 100 or SAR 125 would be issued by booking at the airport directly.

The baggage dimensions should be 62inch or 158cm and maximum up to 205cm, for which SAR 125 would be applicable.

For International flights on business class, two picked baggage are pieces allowed, with each piece having up to 32kg (70lbs) and 158cm. On oversized pieces, 100 USD would be payable.
