Arguably Saudi Telecom Company – STC is the leading Telcom Company in KSA with wide coverage across. I have been using it since I landed here in early 2010. Wherever I have traveled, it never disappoints me. It is actually not limited to KSA but across the border in the MENA region also.
Although it is a bit costly than other of its competitors like Zain, Mobily, etc., it’s worthwhile to travel across KSA quite often as coverage issues are with other operators. Sometimes I do use Zain and Mobily also for internet services as I may get cheap.

Note: You can use Calling Sim & Data Sim separately. You can use data & calling in one sim as most iPhone users do as only one sim socket on the iPhone.

How to Check Remaining Balance
We can check Remaining Balance for Data, Calls, free minutes, etc. in three ways;

Check Balance | Method – 1
This is the simplest one. Just dial *166# from your mobile. See below snip. You will immediately receive an SMS popup with Balance and your SIM card validity. You can also see STC offers by following the instructions there.
Remaining Data Check | Method – 2
In this method, you must have internet data up and running on your mobile. All you have to download STC Application is available for Android and iOS users and follows the below snip instructions.
Don’t worry if you have not registered an account. You can get Direct Access, as I have highlighted below.
You can see all balance, Offers, Qitaf, Can recharge, all of your subscriptions, and much more stuff.
You can download the application names MY STC Play store or iOS.
STC Helpline | Method – 3
You can call the STC helpline at 900 for internet data or 1500 for balance for any query if the above check is not working for you. There you can talk with Arabi, English, or any preferred available language.
