SAWA or STC – SAUDI TELECOM COMPANY Useful Codes
If you see the sim, you have purchased that number starts from 050, 053, or 055, you got an STC number. For example, 0535943*** is my number and is of Sawa STC.
Now let see the codes you need to know to use it properly;
Balance Check: *166# or call 1500 (It free of charge)
Internet Data: Call 900

Zain is also a well know and the best competitor of STC here in the kingdom. It is also operative in other gulf countries. It is not Saudi-based like STC but still has quite worth around KSA users due to its internet and cheaper call packages. Coverage wises it taking the same steps as STC.
If your number starts with 058 or 059 (058 456 XX00, 059 000 0000), you are a Zain user and follow the below codes to charge or do other transactions.

If you got a number starting for 054 or 056, then you are on the Mobily network. A mobile network number will be like 054 555 XXXX, 056 666 XXXX.
Mobily is UAE-based, but here it provides the best available internet packages like Mobily monthly, quarterly plans are the best among others, but the only issue is the coverage. Mobily is confined to major cities, but it is expanding exponentially. It will definitely give some major setbacks to its competitors like Sawa & Zain.

Make sure there is no portability of a network, or else you may lose some extra balance. For example, people transfer the number to other networks from STC to Mobily or Zain and vice versa.
